“Live SH” for all people 
The Shalom Catholic Community, during this time where most churches are closed, offers a daily schedule so that new churches can be opened in people’s homes. Missionaries spread throughout the world organise talks, courses and prayer that make up the schedule titled “Live SH”, so that Jesus can come into your house everyday. Shalom offers course on Culture to missionaries who will go on mission to many different countries
The Missionary Advisory, a division within Shalom Catholic Community, is offering during the month of May, 2016, a course called “Mission & Culture”. The course is being held at the General Government of the Community in Aquiraz city, Brazil. About 30 missionaries of Life Community who are about to be sent on mission to 15 countries are participating in this training course. The goal is to contribute to the preparation of missionaries in order for them to better live the process of meeting with other people from different cultures; to minimize the impact of cultural shock; and to maximize fellowship opportunities among cultures. Where to find us
Shalom Catholic Community was established in July 9th 1982 as a result of a life-changing encounter with Pope John Paul II that Moyses Azevedo, a young man in his 20’s, had a few years before. It also has as its cofounder Emmir Nogueira, a married woman who at that same time was involved in other Church activities.  The Community was founded among the youth in Fortaleza city, northeast of Brazil, but later was joined by married couples, adults, seminarians, deacons and priests. Its missionary outreach started first in other nearby cities but soon, with God’s call and the Church’s confirmation, it spreaded to more distant parts in Brazil and later to other countries.
