Acamps: “Much more than I could have ever hoped for”

I arrived at last year’s Acamps without any unusual expectations: a vacation abroad with catechesis and moments of leisure playing sports, singing and attending concerts. I did consider that this would be a time of joy and deepening of my faith but what that week gave me was much more than I could have ever hoped for.

In fact, despite having had great difficulty in the first days participating and feeling involved in moments of prayer, every day the Lord worked in my heart until I truly experienced His Love, the greatest gift I could receive.

But there were so many other graces that I received during Acamps: new friendships and sharing with other young Italians and youth from many different countries, experiencing nature’s beautiful setting at Lake Balaton with a young and welcoming people all of whom left wanting to repeat this unforgettable time.
