On June 10, the Shalom mission in Granada, southern Spain, received a visit from our founder, Moysés Azevedo, who was warmly welcomed by the missionaries of the Community of Life and Covenant, along with members of the Shalom Work.

Missionaries from the Community of Life — Adson Zanuzo, Isaac Soares, and Rafael César — received the diaconate on May 17th, marking the first diaconal ordination held at the Church of the Risen located in the Diaconia (Aquiraz, Brazil).

The Church of the Risen One Who Passed Through the Cross, was dedicated on November 1, with more than 6,000 people attending the Eucharist celebrated in the church and presided over by the Archbishop of Fortaleza, Mons. Gregório Paixão.

Celebrating a General Assembly is, for us, a true Kairos, as described in our statutes. In 2024, the Shalom Community gathers at the Motherhouse to listen to God and to one another in order to discern the Lord's inspirations for this new time in our life and mission.
