The well known a capella group in the US, Pentatonix, just released a new Christmas song called “Mary, did you know?” which has become a hit sensation on Youtube. The song was originally written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Green, both gospel artists, in 1984 and has been recorded more than 400 times by artists from every genre. The lyric was initially written when Mark Lowry was asked by his pastor to produce a script for a Christmas play at his church.
