“My name is Angela Avdei, I am 24 years old and I am of Italian-Romanian origin. I am currently a missionary of the Community of Life and I participated in the second edition of the Acamps held in Budapest in 2019.
A friend I already knew from the Shalom Community invited me, he is also a missionary of the Community.
The experience was incredible, I did not expect to live so many things in so few days. It was a week of immersion in the knowledge of God and at the same time I had an experience of real joy in contact with other people and with the proposed activities.
What attracted me the most and what I liked the most about the camp is the right balance between the moments of fun and being with God.
For me, the best reason to participate in Acamps is that it really is an experience that changes our lives for the better in every way. If you don’t believe me, why not try it?”.

The Acamps Summer Festival is a youth festival where young people from all over Europe and the world can enjoy an unforgettable faith experience through different types of activities, such as sports, games, competitions, camping, music, friends, culture, parties, faith, prayer, Eucharist, adoration, catechesis and much more! During the Festival, you can expect to meet young people who want to experience a personal and profound encounter with the living Christ”.
The next edition of the Acamps Festival will be held near Ferrara, Italy, from July 31 to August 4, 2024.
