My name is Giulia, I am 25 years old and I come from Rome.
I arrived at Acamps after a few years of profound crisis in which my inability to love myself and my family led to large emotional wounds that grew every day and made me angry with God. During this period of my life I met the Shalom community and I started attending their prayer group.
And so I went to the Acamps!!
During these days I had the opportunity to deepen my relationship with God and to understand his immense love for me. God is a faithful Father who has never abandoned me.
I met new people of all nationalities and was able to receive the testimony of God’s actions in their lives. I realized that I still have many emotional wounds to heal, but God has a way for everyone and leaves no one behind.
These days have been a great grace because I have experienced how when the Holy Spirit blows, everything is new, it is recreated, everything burns without being consumed; everything is joy and happiness, but not as imagined by the absence of problems… No! A different joy that comes from within and overwhelms the people around you and makes you enter into suffering to get out of it fortified through His love! Heal every wound. Think that it also makes you smile, sing, and dance!!
You must have the courage and the desire to follow him and surely he, who loves with a unique love, will create a new story with our life!
Over these days I prayed, laughed, cried, and played. I went home with the desire to know him, to know me, to learn to live like Christ, to reflect the love of God for me in others, loving them and witnessing his love, all through my daily actions. The road is still very long but with him by my side everything is possible!!
