During the weekend of October 25th and 26th of 2014, the members of the Shalom Catholic Community of Toulon – France, organized the
10th International Forum of Formation and Prayer, at the ‘’Castille’’, an ancient castle about 14 kilometers away from the center of the city.
The preacher of this year’s event was Father Léthel, member of the Carmel and consultant for the canonization processes of the V
The theme of this year’s formation was the ‘’The Light of Christ in the Heart of the Church: John Paul II and the Theology of the Saints’’atican. He has also dedicated his life to the study many different saints, concluding a thesis paper about the life of Saint Jeanne d’Arc.
We also welcomed father John Chagas, who is actually in charge of the organization of the WYD of Cracovia, by the Youth section of the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
Almost 400 people participated of this event, and we had the pleasure to witness that God did, and still does guide his friends in the happy path of holiness. Between moments of formation, prayer, worship, leisure and sharing, people of different ages (activities adapted for children, teenagers and adults) and nations (from South America and from all around Europe, with simultaneous translation during the communal moments) were touched by the love of our Lord, who wants to share with us his paradise.
