The Church of the Risen One Who Passed Through the Cross, was dedicated on November 1, with more than 6,000 people attending the Eucharist celebrated in the church and presided over by the Archbishop of Fortaleza, Mons. Gregório Paixão.

"Prayer is the food of hope" was the theme of Moysés Azevedo's talk at the Shalom 2024 International Youth Congress on Sunday 13th. The founder led the afternoon formation around three points: hope, prayer and mission.

The Shalom youth celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Aparecida with a Holy Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Robert Brennan, Bishop of Brooklyn.

In addition to Father Cristiano Pinheiro, the Youth Congress will also feature sermons from Emmir Nogueira and Moysés Azevedo.

The afternoon of Friday, October 11, marked the beginning of an unforgettable weekend in the lives of more than four thousand young people who attended the opening ceremony of the Shalom Youth Congress 2024.

The mission in Bogota is the first presence of the Shalom Community in Colombia where the charism has been flourishing for seven years thanks to the evangelizing commitment of the members of the Work.

The expedition will take place in November next year in the city of Antsiranana, in the north of the African country.

From August 16th to 30th, the General Assembly of the Shalom Community took place, electing the new General Council and defining actions for the 2024-2029 five-year period.

Celebrating a General Assembly is, for us, a true Kairos, as described in our statutes. In 2024, the Shalom Community gathers at the Motherhouse to listen to God and to one another in order to discern the Lord's inspirations for this new time in our life and mission.
