In the morning on Friday 10 we sang and danced and prayed morning prayer all together outside by the lake, and then we heard a talk about sin and salvation.
We learned that the devil tries to make us “blind” to the truth and to distort the way we see things, and that when we sin it separates us from God’s love, but that Jesus came to die on the cross for us, so sin no longer has any power. All we have to do is recognize that we are sinners and ask God for His grace.
After the talk we had time together in adoration, to praise God, to talk to Him, and to let Him talk to us. God invited us to trust Him more, to open wide the “doors of our hearts” to Him, and to not be afraid.
We spent the afternoon outside enjoying the lake, jumping on the trampolines, and playing volleyball and “bubble soccer”. It’s really exciting to be here and to share this experience with people from all over the world. I am really grateful to have the opportunity to learn about the different cultures that are represented here, to pray together in different languages, and to “renew” my experience with God’s personal love for me.
