Shalom Catholic Community is hosting the second edition of Acamp’s North America, a multi-day event to encounter God, make new friends, and have a life-changing experience.
For the first time, you’ll be experiencing Acamp’s in the Fall. The beauty of the autumn landscape will lead us beyond. It’s time to put off the old and embrace the new!
What happens during Acamp’s Festival? Acamp’s combines the contemplation of a retreat with the excitement of a concert or sporting event! Specifically, it includes moments of prayer and meditation to encounter God, as well as countless moments of fellowship, outdoor activities and sports, music and arts, international experiences, and so much more!
Why should I go to Acamp’s? To have a new experience of joy! This joy can come from so many different things. Maybe you’ll feel a sense of freedom through being surrounded by nature, sitting next to a beautiful lake (or swimming in it!). Others may thrive in the moments of peace and silence, stepping away from the distractions of everyday life. For others, the highlight may be the sense of community, leaving their comfort zone, and making new friends in lively team activities. How do I get there: Guests are welcome to drive independently to join us, and we have ample free parking. Additionally, we will be offering transportation services from the Boston and New York City metropolitan areas. How much does it cost: Early Bird Discount: $220 (when placed through June 30); Normal Price: $240. However, we do not want cost to be an obstacle for anyone, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us if it is. What do I need to bring: Bed sheets, clothing for 4 days, towel, toiletries, and blankets.
Is it an option to come late? Yes, our registration team will be ready to greet and welcome you! Please just send us an email beforehand, so that we can prepare accordingly.
