With great joy, the young people present in the early afternoon followed the concert of La Voz Del Desierto, a band composed of 7 members, 3 of them priests. Known among the Catholic public for their Christian rock musical style, songs such as Resucitó and Sin tu calor were part of their repertoire.
Stéphanie Demars, 20, Mexican, and student of economics in Spain, accompanied the concert and comments that she came at the invitation of her Spanish friends and that she felt touched during the moment when they invoked the Holy Spirit, the young woman comments that:
“When we said, Holy Spirit come, we started to feel all the wind, and the Holy Spirit was really present there, it was a moment of praise and glory to God, and it was with everyone singing and everyone in Community, so at that moment God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ were all present and singing with us.” For her it was an opportunity to experience God’s love through music and friends.
Evangelization cannot stop
Amidst dancing, fun and vibrancy, the young pilgrims responded with great joy to the interactions of the band The Acts of the Apostles who closed the evening of the Festival.
The Indian band interspersed their performance with moments of great animation and proclamation of the Word, leading the audience to sing, dance and pray.
Missionaries continued to be available for welcome, prayer and counseling, and presentation of the Charism to those present. Over 60 priests were present ministering the Sacrament of Reconciliation to pilgrims seeking Confession.
On Friday, the closing of the Halleluya Lisboa Festival, evangelization actions continue to be offered by the missionaries.
