Hey! I’m Kerishé from Jamaica! Where do I begin? Well… I am a core member of Magnificat, Shalom’s Weekly Online Prayer Group and my life has always been full of unwanted drama, confusion and distractions. Until, my #BestAdventEver, where I learned the importance of self-control, patience and total reliance on Divine Providence. In my professional life, I am a tax advisor, which often gets very demanding and interferes with my true passion: mentoring youth and young adults.
In 2016, I heard God calling me into full-time ministry and I left my job in faith that God would make a way! I became the first Director of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of Kingston in Jamaica where I served for almost 3 years. Undoubtedly this was truly a Divine appointment. God used this encounter to guide me to what I now identify as the vocation of my heart: Shalom.
From the charismatic prayer to the contemplative prayer, Shalom provides me with the opportunity to listen and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and also to simply enjoy being. It is through this encounter of being that I have come to understand who I am, Whose I am, and what He has called me to do: “To positively impact society through faith, hope, love, inspiration, hardwork, commitment & honesty in everything I do!
My entire being connects with the Shalom charism of contemplation, evangelization and unity. Presently I lead a weekly prayer group of young people seeking after God’s own heart. We identify ourselves as Shalom, but the Shalom missionary presence isn’t officially in Jamaica…. not as yet! Pray for Shalom Kingston!

The key to discerning God’s mission for you is to develop an intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity!
