Missionario Shalom band born of Shalom Catholic Community as a fruit of God’s grace. It generated by God to match the need of humanity that suffers the ignorance of God’s love. The band takes Shalom charism inspiration turning into songs about God’s love, the spousal love of Jesus for each of us, the joy of belonging to God, the courage of the saints, the revolution of the Holy Spirit, the peace and God’s mercy. The songs are accompanied by vibrant dances announcing to man that God is alive and wants to enrich us with His love.
The band members are young people who have the experience with God’s love that conquers and makes winner who trust in him. Rafael, Gustavo and Deborah will sing in Portuguese, English and Spanish. In addition the presentation in Halleluya on 27 and 29 July, the band will be responsible for the animation of the catechesis in Portuguese language during the World Youth Day and will also perform in the Youth International Shalom Meeting on August 1.
Missionary Shalom band want to be part of the church “outing” responding to Pope Francis’ invitation to announce the living and real God’s love able to heal and rescue all.
“Let God amaze you as well as changed my life.” This is the proposal that Missionary Shalom band leads to the youth of the whole world.
