“Come Back Home!” – Life in the Spirit Seminar
After the great success of last year’s event, the Shalom Catholic Community in London (UK) is back with another Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS). Many people who were reached by God last LSS started to ask: “when is the next one?“. Well, now you can invite your friends and family because there is a date: 1st and 2nd of July, 2017.
This year, the LSS has the title “COME BACK HOME!” as an invitation for all those who are searching for an unconditional love, a sense of belonging and meaning. We all have a HOME to return to. This place is at the centre of our being, where Someone special is eagerly waiting for us with open arms: the Father of Mercy.
What is a Life in the Spirit Seminar?
The LSS is a spiritual journey, based on the Catholic faith, comprised of a series of talks, music and moments of prayer that gradually introduces the participants to the love of God and the discovery of the works of the Holy Spirit within our souls.
Healing Mass
In preparation for the LSS, this year the Shalom Community will be hosting a Healing Mass together with the priests of the Order of St Augustine at St Monica’s Catholic Church, Hoxton.
It is true that all masses are healing masses. However, a Healing Mass is one especially offered for the healing of the body, soul and mind. It is followed by moments of prayer, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the sacrament of Reconciliation in order to open our lives for the work of the Holy Spirit.

LSS: Give it a Go!
Thousands of people all over the world have experienced something new in their lives after participating in a LSS retreat. This invitation is especially for those who have never attended one but would like to give it a go and see for themselves what God can do in the lives of those who truly and honestly seek Him. Maybe its time to come back home!
