“FINDING A DEEPER MEANING FOR MY LIFE” (Sophia- India)

“I am so grateful for Shalom Mission Trip. I had come so I can experience a more deeper relationship with God, and find a deeper meaning for my life and the direction to go ahead in my life. I also wanted to experience the Shalom charisma in a more closer way. I would say all of these have been given to me by the good Lord during these days…I have received more than what I have asked for and I have received so much of love from the people in Philippines too. My heart is so full of gratitude toward God. He has been so good to me. Shalom Mission Trip had been the best time, a time of Kairos in my life“.

“BEING LIGHT IN ASIA” (Camilo- Bolivia)

“Shalom Mission Trip has been a very enriching experience for my life in all aspects: fraternization, evangelization… Renewing the fire in my heart to the call of the Church in the world: sign of light, especially in Asia, being bearers of the Shalom charism. It has been wonderful to share with the people of the Philippines every prayer, Mass, songs, the “Be Filled” Seminar where we were filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit. God is good all the time”.

THE POWER OF EVANGELIZATION (Ale- Perú)

“This Mission Trip has left a footprint in my life that will remain forever. The deep moments of prayer and adoration, the community times and the times of evangelization were all so powerful. We truly lived like the apostles in both contemplation and action, and my missionary vocation has been so nurtured by witnessing the life offering of those around me, their courage and complete giving of themselves. Our main mission was to share for free what we received for free but on the sharing of God’s love we receive more and more”.

“I’m still processing everything I lived but I could summarize it with ‘I do not regard being a missionary as a sacrifice offered to God, but as a grace that God gives to me’ (Joseph Freinademetz). I’m so grateful for this missionary vocation”.

THE SENSE OF FRATERNITY (Padre Vitor, missionary in Taiwan- Brazil)

“It was a great joy being part of this first edition of the Shalom Mission Trip. As Catholic Church and as Shalom Catholic Community really we are a spiritual family with the calling to spread the Good News for everyone!

The philippine people, the local clergy, the young people and our brothers more in need made me bring a lot of memories and a sincere commitment of intercession for the philippine people. I came back to Taiwan with my heart full of joy and a profound sense of fraternity! My missionary and priestly heart has a new space for welcoming the Philippines! Shalom!”.
