Most faithful Saint Joseph, who gave us such a beautiful example in the faithful fulfilment of your duties as the protector of the Most Virgin and nourishing father of the Redeemer: I beg you to obtain for me the grace to imitate your example by being faithful to all my obligations towards my state of life. Help me to be faithful in little things in order also to be faithful in greater ones. Protect the homes of all workers in this country against the inauspicious influence of Christ’s enemies and those of the Holy Church. Obtain for them the grace of sanctifying their work, with an upright intention, always in conformity with Divine Providence’s designs. Amen.

O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, Protector and Patron of the Universal Church: obtain for me the grace to love the Church as Mother and to honour Her as a true disciple of Christ. I pray that you look upon Her Mystical Body as you once looked upon Jesus and Mary. Protect the Holy Father and Bishops, Priests and those in Religious life. Grant them holiness of life and effectiveness in the apostolate. Guard the innocence of childhood, the chastity of youth, the honesty of the home, the order and peace of society. Amen.

Receive, with paternal kindness, whoever beseeches you with filial trust and grant me the graces that I ask for through this Novena. I choose you as my special protector. Be, after Jesus and Mary, my consolation in this earth, my refuge in times of trouble, my guide in uncertainty, my comfort among trials, and my thoughtful father in all my needs.
