In the Rome Church heart, Basilica of St Mary Major, Marian vigils will take place on the third Saturdays of the month – from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm. There will be more 9 meetings. These vigils will open by a moment of praise, followed by prayer and intercession, talks and a moment of questions and answers between guests and young people ending with the Eucharistic Worship.
As in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary the Word became flesh and came to dwell among us, this moment of prayer, in Marian shrine, aims to collaborate to a new impulse of evangelization focused on young people in order to letting them be formed in Unity and Communion by the footsteps of the Holy Mother.
In this journey, the Catholic Movements and Associations with the young people involved could have an opportunity to deepen their calling to follow Jesus and their role in the Church and in society. Guests coming from various ecclesial realities will enrich the meeting with their testimonies under the maternal protection of Mary.
Shalom Catholic Community Founder and General Moderator Moysés Azevedo will be attending in the first meeting, on Saturday 20th January 2018.
