Jorge Pinheiro is a lawyer who came to political life after “discerning the will of God,” as he claims to do so for everything in his life. He has been working for the Secretary State of Justice (‘Sejus’) in Fortaleza, Northeast of Brazil, for six years and his specializing is in canon law. He is also a missionary, member of Shalom Catholic Community and does not hide the force of the divine call to his arrival in the political area guided by the pure will of
God without any Human action or mediation. In his divine mission, he intends to be an “active and dedicated voice to defend family and life”.
The lawyer said that as a councilman, he likes to do things in strict legality. In addition, he has as a goal the upholding of life and family, health and education because the family is what founds our society, he affirmed. The politician-missionary has several projects in various areas as education and culture.
“My brothers and sisters of Shalom Community supported me without any division and this strengthened my candidacy. I can say without demagogy, without utopia, that it was God who guided everything until now.”
