On the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary, more than 350 young people from Europe, Middle East, and other places took part in the Acamps Summer Festival 2018 organized by the Shalom Catholic Community. They participated in this summer event which was characterized not only by fun through sports, water games, parties, concerts but above all by intense moments of prayer and Eucharistic adoration. These were precisely the occasions in which young people had a strong and profound experience with God and prayer. They experienced meaningful miracles, their eyes were full of hope and gratitude, and they left with renewed lives.
The evangelization centers of the Community throughout the world have welcomed many of these young people who wish to take part in a spiritual journey in the prayer groups in order to deepen their experience living with Jesus which is reflected in their relationships with others.
Back in their own cities, each person who attended the Acamp can witness what God has done in their lives and about the experiences they had which can be partly described in words and the rest felt in the heart. Absolutely!
