The Shalom Catholic Community Authorities Retreat takes place annually. The encounter is an instrument of God that directly contributes to give direction to all the main actions of the Community. The retreat will take place in 2021 in virtual format and intends to gather more than 1600 participants from all over the world during the last two weekends of August.
The meeting offers spiritual formation, moments of prayer and also some liturgical celebrations to all participants, who are mostly missionaries of the Shalom Community that have a specific service of authority. One of the graces of each retreat is listening to Moysés Azevedo’s preaching, founder of the Community, who shares about what God spoke at the General Council’s retreat where they pray and listen to God’s voice and His Will for the Community. Indeed, Moysés’ preaching is the main content of the “Listen” Magazine, published by Edições Shalom.
