Three hearts touched by grace and by an experience of encounter with God’s love in Acamps that will later radiate in their respective cities: Bratislava (Slovakia), Shenzhen (China), and Zagreb (Croatia).
Slovakia
“My name is Dominika, I met the Community 9 years ago in Granada (Spain). When I returned from Spain I was still in contact with the Community through the online prayer groups, and sometimes I visited the missions in Budapest (Hungary) and Krakow (Poland). At present I am doing the vocation online and sometimes I visit the mission in Granada.
I live in Bratislava, and in my daily life I live the charism through prayer, daily Eucharist, adoration, participation in the international events of the Community, personal accompaniment and vocational formation”.
China
“My name is Ada. I am from Shenzhen, China. I met the Acamps Summer Festival at the Halleluya of WYD in Lisbon, Portugal. I came to the Acamps Summer Festival in Ferrara and I am so happy! When I worship and praise, I can feel that God is with me. I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit here!”.
Croatia
“My name is Darija, I come from Croatia. I first met Shalom community through my sister who is now postulant in the Covenant Community.
My first experience with the Shalom Community was in Acamps Summer Festival 2 years ago in Italy. There I got to know in person the community and its carism, young people who are living radically for God.
After that I decided to get to know community more and to get involved. And now I am in vocational course to see God’s will for my life.
Since I first met community, my heart was inflamed for everything that community is. As there is no community in Croatia, it is a bit difficult to live the charism when you are not surrounded by brothers and sisters who are living it together with you. But somehow this fire for the community in my heart is alive and every time we have vocational course on which I participate online God inflames my heart more and more, and shows me that Community Shalom is one very beautiful vocation in our Church”.
No borders
The Shalom Community is present in 32 countries of the world with missionary houses and various evangelization projects. The Diffusion of the Charism through the expansion of the Shalom Work also reaches new cities and countries where new prayer groups are emerging beyond the presence or not of missionaries of Life or Covenant Community.
Currently there are diffusions of the Shalom Work in 69 dioceses of Brazil, as well as in Frankfurt (Germany), Dublin (Ireland), Naples (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), Orlando (United States), Montreal (Canada) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
