The Acamps Summer Festival in Europe has kicked off in Comacchio, in northeastern Italy, where dozens of young people from 14 different countries will enjoy pre-jubilee days of community, fun, and encounter with God.
What they experience at Acamps will continue during the pilgrimage to Rome to participate in the Youth Jubilee from July 28 to August 3, joining thousands of young pilgrims from all over the world to celebrate the joy of being Church and meeting the Holy Father for the first time.
This edition of Acamps 2025 in Ferrara includes youth from Italy, Poland, Croatia, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Hungary, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada, Spain, France, Colombia, and Pakistan.
Stage on the beach and theatrical premiere
One of the highlights of this year’s Acamps is the setting at the Florenz Holiday Village, which will feature a main stage located on the beach, as well as an auditorium. For the first time, perpetual adoration will also take place in the chapel dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament.
During Acamps, there will also be a performance of the play Forza Venite Gente, which tells the story of Saint Francis of Assisi, from his conversion to the end of his life, highlighting the key role of Saint Clare of Assisi in the Franciscan tradition.
Musical performances on the beach stage will include the band Shalom Dublin and Opera Nuova Band.
