The Acamps Summer Festival 2026, organized by the Shalom Catholic Community, has officially released its program. The event will take place from July 15–19 in Lourdes, France, bringing together young people and families from various countries for days filled with faith, friendship, music, and cultural and sporting activities.
Held at the Village des Jeunes, the festival combines spirituality and community life through a dynamic schedule that includes Masses, Eucharistic adoration, formation sessions, pilgrimages, sports, concerts, and opportunities for fellowship.
July 15: Arrival and Official Opening
The first day will be dedicated to welcoming participants, with check-in taking place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Village des Jeunes.
In the afternoon, the Opening Mass will be celebrated at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, presided over by Bishop François Touvet.
In the evening, participants will gather for a festive opening night featuring a DJ and a concert by Les Guetteurs, officially launching the festival.
July 16: Spirituality and First Encounters
The day begins with prayer and praise, followed by the Life in the Spirit Seminar and YOUCAT courses for young people. At the same time, families will participate in formation sessions exploring the signs and message of Lourdes.
In the afternoon, participants will be divided into three groups that will rotate throughout the festival among sports activities, hip-hop workshops, hiking, and pilgrimages to the Sanctuary of Lourdes.
The day concludes with Mass and an evening of concerts featuring Opera Nuova and Shalom Dublin.
July 17: Vocation, Family, and Pilgrimage
As on the previous day, the morning schedule includes praise, adoration, the Life in the Spirit Seminar, and formation sessions.
Parents will take part in a special workshop on married life and mission, while children will enjoy activities designed specifically for them.
The afternoon features group activities and family-sharing moments.
In the evening, participants will join the traditional Candlelight Procession at the Sanctuary of Lourdes, one of the most moving moments of the pilgrimage.
July 18: Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The fourth day includes additional spiritual formation and the experience of Baptism in the Holy Spirit, a powerful moment of prayer in which participants ask for and open themselves more deeply to the action of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
During the afternoon, families will attend sessions on emotional, relational, and sexual life, as well as a family experience within the Sanctuary. The final group activities will also take place.
The day concludes with Mass and the highly anticipated Talent Night, a favorite feature of every Acamps Summer Festival.
July 19: Closing Day in a Spirit of Pilgrimage
The final day begins early with breakfast and check-out.
Participants will then attend Mass at the Grotto of the Apparitions, one of the central moments of the festival.
Throughout the morning, workshops and pilgrimages around the Sanctuary grounds will take place. The official closing begins at noon with a group photo at the Rosary Basilica, followed by the closing ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
The Acamps Summer Festival concludes having offered an experience that unites faith, youth, and encounter at the heart of one of the world’s most important pilgrimage destinations.
