The next Acamps Summer Festival will be held in France in 2026! This announcement was made on the final day of the camp, and participants received the news with applause and great joy. The upcoming edition of Acamps, much more than a summer camp, has already transformed the lives of hundreds of young people from across Europe.
Acamps 2025 took place from July 25 to 28 in Comacchio, at the Florenz Holiday Village, gathering over 200 people for days of fun, fellowship, prayer, and encounters with God. Among the countries with the highest number of participants this year were Italy, Croatia, Poland, and Hungary.
Throughout the four-day event, held just before the Jubilee of Youth in Rome, participants experienced prayer, adoration, formation, the Eucharist, sports and leisure activities, music concerts, and much more.
This year, one of the Eucharistic celebrations was presided over by Mons. Gian Carlo Perego, Archbishop of Ferrara, who thanked the youth for their presence and joy in the Diocese of Ferrara.
As always, music and theater played an important role in Acamps Summer Festival, including a performance of the play “Forza Venite Gente”, presented by the Shalom mission theater group from Rome, based on the life of St. Francis of Assisi.
Regarding music, this edition featured a performance by the Shalom Dublin Band, which will also perform on July 30 during the Jubilee of Youth in Rome.

The young people who participated in Acamps Summer Festival 2025 have also become pilgrims of hope, preparing during these intense days for their journey to the Eternal City. The Jubilee of Youth will take place in Rome from July 28 to August 3, where they will meet Pope Leo XIV in what will be his first major gathering with youth from all over the world.
Shalom Catholic Community pilgrims will be hosted by the Parish of Sant’Angela Merici and the Church of Santa Maria Immacolata e San Giovanni Berchmans, in the San Lorenzo district.
