Born at the feet of a Pope, through the life offering of its founder when he was just a young man, the Shalom Community maintains the tradition of being present in Rome during significant pontifical moments, such as the election of a new pope.
Moysés has been in Rome since Francis’ Easter and remained in the city to closely follow the apostolic succession.

Emmir Nogueira, co-founder of the Community, also commented on the papal election. In the video, she shares her joyful surprise at the Holy Father’s first words: “Peace be with you,” which in other words, is Shalom.
