With the objective of fostering the missionary spirit among the youth, a group of 20 participants, mainly from the Shalom Work and the Covenant Community from all over the world, will dedicate the first week to receive missionary formation and training.

In the second week of the Shalom Mission Trip, the objective will be to overflow and take action in active evangelization, especially of those farthest away from God and the Church, which will be carried out through artistic activities, evangelization in the street, with families and in support of the local church with formations and moments of prayer and sharing.

Shalom Mission Trip was conceived by the Community as an urgent response to the evangelization needs of the Church in Asia with the objective of opening, in the future, new missionary presences on the Asian continent where the Community is already present, besides the Philippines, in Taiwan and the Holy Land.

Asia is currently the world’s most populous continent with 60% of the total population, according to National Geographic data.

Shalom Mission Trip will also be a space of encounter and coexistence between the different cultures of its participants from countries such as Italy, Poland, the Holy Land, India, Bolivia, the United States, France, and Pakistan, among others, together with the cultural richness of the local youth of Manila, in the exchange of experiences and faith, with the celebration of a Life in the Spirit Seminar.
