Filled with joy, Shalom Dublin returns praise and gratitude to God for all of his loving deeds spread over a year and a half of mission work in Ireland. To celebrate this moment of achievement on July 22, 2020, at 7:30 PM, an evangelizing show called: A Concert of Hope will take place. The broadcast will be made via the Shalom Dublin Instagram(@shalomdublin), the Shalom Catholic Community YouTube Channel, and also on the Holy Cross Dundrum Parish Church’s website dundrumparish.com.

“It will be a night of praise, prayer, and joy! We chose songs that talk about the love and gratitude to God”, says missionary Meggie Teixeira. The repertoire consists of a selection of special songs from the Shalom Community, by singers Matt Maher, Chris Tomlin, among others. The celebration will include the participation of missionary and dancer Mariana Oliveira, who will dance to the song “Your love has conquered me”, from the Shalom Community.  “I’m so excited for this moment this will be our first event since before the lockdown.” says Paulo Soares, the coordinator of the music ministry for Shalom Dublin. The event will be attended by the Irish Choir of the Holy Cross Dundrum Parish Church.

According to Bruna Frota, responsible for the dissemination of the work, all the details were planned very carefully, based on the structure, disclosure, and the programme for the event. “We made a point of involving all members of our group who worked together directly or indirectly to help in organising this event. Service and devotion to God transforms our lives and we are free to pursue it.”, says Bruna.

The dissemination of the work of the Shalom Community in the city of Dublin, Ireland, is made up of three missionaries from the Covenant Community, together with young Irish people and other nationalities. Members meet every Saturday at 7 PM at the Holy Cross Dundrum Parish Church Community Centre for a prayer group.

We hope and pray that when you link in to this unique and uplifting event that you will be filled with love in your heart and form a special bond with our Shalom Community in Dublin.
