Moyses Azevedo: God performs a new outpouring of His Spirit
Every year, the general counsel of the Shalom Catholic Community have a retreat to pray and to listen from God his wisdom for our lives as disciples and ministers of peace in the world. After it, the founder shares God’s inspirations for the Community. This year the main revelation was that God desires to perform a “Pentecost of Love" in us. We believe that what God wishes to do is for all the Church and mankind, so we are sharing here some parts of God’s message to us, his beloved children.

Fifty years ago Pope Paul VI established the  World Communications Day as an annual celebration. Since then on the Sunday before Pentecost the Church marks the day to reflect on the opportunities and challenges of social communication (the press, motions pictures, radio, television and the internet) as a good place where gospel values can be promoted.

Jamile is a missionary of Shalom Catholic Community who made her Definitive Promises in the Shalom Charisma as a Covenant Community member on Sunday 8th of April, the Feast of Divine Mercy. Currently, she lives in Boston where she made her solemn and eternal commitments to offer her life for the evangelization of others. In order to share this remarkable moment she wrote a letter addressing all those who are part of the Shalom family.
