The Volunteers of Shalom Missionary Expedition arrived in Cape Verde
Volunteers of the Shalom Missionary Expedition have just arrived in Praia, Cape Verde where Shalom Catholic Community has been present since 2016. The Expedition Program is an initiative created by the Human Promotion Advisory which aims to integrate volunteer services and works to rescue human dignity providing help to the neediest in different parts of the world. There are now 21 volunteers and missionaries in Praia from Brazil and Italy. They’ve come to share joy, hope and God’s love through their volunteer service. As their first activity, they celebrated a Holy Mass with Cardinal Arlindo Furtado who welcomed and blessed them. 3rd Anniversary Mass of Boston Mission
Last May 19th, the mission in Boston celebrated its 3rd anniversary with a solemn mass. At the same time, they welcomed 3 new postulants and received 2 temporary promises in Covenant Community.
