My name is Andrea, and I am a covenant community missionary from Hungary. Two years ago, I began my mission in New York, living as part of the life community. In October 2022, just before the Feast of Saint John Paul II, I arrived to join this community as it celebrated its second anniversary in this vibrant city. Saints are bastions of vocation and are examples of how to live and grow in faith for the Shalom Catholic Community.   Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint  Teresa of Ávila are the bastions of the Shalom vocation, providing us with models of prayer and love for God above all things. God’s providence led the founder of the Community, Moysés Azevedo, and the co-founder, Emmir Nogueira, to the writings and the history of these two saints.
