The places were a fruit of the 35th Anniversary Convention. Five years later, the Community shares with the Pope the first graces of this oasis of mercy.

Deepening the theme "Friend of the Poor," the Convention program today presents the witness of the missions in the service of the people who are in need.

The center is the home of all young people from all around the world and is located in the heart of the Church, just a few steps from St. Peter's Basilica.

The melody was presented for the first time during the "Shalom 40 years Listening Retreat", in which Moysés Azevedo spoke about the importance of the Virgin Mary, the All Little One, for the Community.

Continuing the sharing on the fruits of the General Council's Listening Retreat, the founder of the Shalom Community asked the members for fidelity to the inspiration of the Charism.

Moysés Azevedo emphasized that this is a time of "salvation, gratitude, and praise. 

The retreat Shalom 40 years - special sharing of the General Council's Listening Retreat - will take place in a virtual format, from August 20th to 23rd, and will feature catechesis given by Moysés Azevedo, founder of the Shalom Community.

Last Sunday, July 6th, several members of the Shalom Work gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Shalom Catholic Community. In the International Gathering were people from India, Malaysia, Canada, El Salvador, Mexico, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Philippines, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, and Cameroon. Alive in Christ, are online prayer groups that make possible the diffusion of the Charisma to the more distant places, and thus, answer the call to announce the Gospel to the ends of the earth.  The celebration of the International Gathering of the Shalom Work was marked by much praise, everyone thanked God for what He was accomplishing in their lives, especially recognizing all that is being done from the Charisma Shalom.
