“Offering” is a song based on the letter written by Moysés and given to Pope John Paul II in 1980 as a gift during the Apostolic Visit of His Holiness to Fortaleza. On this letter, Moysés has offered his own life to the evangelization of the young people especially those who are far from Jesus and the Church. The word “vocation” comes from the Latin “vocare”, which means “to call”. Vocation is therefore a calling, an appeal. God is the One who, creating man, calls him to life and to a personal relationship with Himself, to love and to holiness. The Shalom Mission in Madagascar
“Being a Shalom missionary in a foreign land is a Grace of God. I am touching the lives of a people that was previously unknown to me and now they have become my people”, says Vanda Santos who has been the Responsible for the Shalom Community Mission for 7 years in the city of Antsiranana, Madagascar. The Shalom Vocation in the Holy Land
The Shalom Catholic Community has two Missions in Israel, Haifa and Nazareth. In Haifa, the Community has done the work of evangelization for almost two decades and today there are 13 missionaries there. The celibate for the Kingdom of Heaven, Marcelo David, is responsible for this Mission and shares with us the graces and challenges in the proclamation of the Gospel in this land.

In practice, most of our life as a Community has been lived under the pontificate of John Paul II. Among the many aspects, I would like to emphasize one in particular: the parrhesia.
