Shalom Catholic Community assumes the responsibilities of the ‘San Lorenzo’ International Youth Centre in Rome

On the 13th of March of 1983, St. John Paul presented the young people of the world with a gift. He inaugurated the ‘San Lorenzo’ International Youth Centre, a few feet away from St. Peter’s Square, in Vatican: a welcoming place for pilgrimages, encounters, prayer and evangelisation for all the young people who come to the Eternal city.

The Volunteers of Shalom Missionary Expedition arrived in Cape Verde

Volunteers of the Shalom Missionary Expedition have just arrived in Praia, Cape Verde where Shalom Catholic Community has been present since 2016. The Expedition Program is an initiative created by the Human Promotion Advisory which aims to integrate volunteer services and works to rescue human dignity providing help to the neediest in different parts of the world. There are now 21 volunteers and missionaries in Praia from Brazil and Italy. They’ve come to share joy, hope and God’s love through their volunteer service. Shalom INTERNET-ional Prayer Meeting: a new initiative of the Holy Spirit

Due to geographical distances not allowing many people to access a Shalom Evangelization Center in their country, the online initiative for vocational training and awakening was born, it is called the INTERNET-ional Prayer Meeting. It is basically a monthly meeting in English with moments of prayer, preaching and sharing on how to make a vocational discernment. Last Sunday,  Shalom Catholic Community organized the first INTERNET-ional Prayer Meeting with the participation of young adults from different parts of the world, such as: Poland, Congo, Malaysia, Philippines, France, Italy, and Jamaica. Shalom Krakow mission has its first Polish postulant

The Shalom catholic missionaries from Brazil first arrived in the capital of Poland in 2015, just three years later the community has welcomed the first local vocation, Agnieszka Kluz the first Polish postulant of Shalom Life community in the land of Saint John Paul II. The Shalom in Madagascar, Africa, commemorated the Siege of Jericho with a seven-day adoration vigil from April 23-30, 2018. It began and ended with Holy Mass.
