On Nov. 13, World Day of the Poor, the Shalom Catholic Community responded to the Church's call and dedicated itself even more intensively to our brothers and sisters in need.

South America, Africa and Europe welcome the shalom charism with 3 new missionary houses. 

Francisco Tiago, Evandro Meneses, Francisco Wyradan and Vitor Aragão are now living this fruitful time of Diaconate, following the path towards priestly ordination.

On the last day during the event, Moysés Azevedo highlighted remarkable moments lived during the pilgrimage.

"Your name is “Shalom”. This word is not a slogan, it comes from the Gospel, it comes from the lips and the heart of the Risen Jesus, who, when he appeared to the disciples in the Upper Room, said: “Peace be with you”.
